About the Windows Agent

The Windows Agent is the portion of the Backup service that runs on the Windows Host system. The Agent listens on TCP port 1167 for Backup and Restore requests from the CDP Server.

Note
The CDP (Backup) Agent must be installed on each Windows system that will use the Backup service.
