- The Host Names or IP addresses of the Linux Host(s), as well as the Linux-based CDP Server.
- Administrative privileges for the Linux CDP Server, as well as each of the Linux Hosts that will use the services of the CDP Server.
The Linux Agent installer allows the use of installation options. In case you have a multitude of hosts to install the Agent on, you can use the scriptable installation. Read more in Linux Agent - Scriptable Installation.
Additionally, it is assumed that:
- The CDP Agent software (similar to linux-agent-32-1.64.0-generic.run or linux-agent-64-1.64.0-generic.run) has been copied to each of the Linux Host systems that will be using the synchronization utilities.
- The CDP Server software (for example, Linux CDP Server Stand Alone: similar to CDP-Server-Stand-Alone-linux32-2.16.0.run) has been copied to the Linux system that will be used as the dedicated CDP Server.
You can also use the Windows CDP Server to back up the Host with Linux Agent installed.
