Assumptions for Windows Agent Installation
To complete the installation procedures detailed in this Getting Started Guide you will need the following:
- The Host Names or IP addresses of the Windows Host(s), as well as the Windows-based CDP Server.
- Administrative privileges for the Windows CDP Server, as well as each of the Windows Hosts that will use the services of the CDP Server.
Additionally, it is assumed that:
- The CDP Agent software (windows-agent-win32-2.14.0.exe or windows-agent-win64-2.14.0.exe) has been copied to each of the Windows Host systems that will use the Backup utilities.
- The CDP Server software (for example, Windows Stand Alone Edition CDP-Server-Stand-Alone-win32-2.14.0.exe) has been copied to the Windows system that will be used as the dedicated CDP Server.
