Volumes
About Volumes
All Disk Safes are stored in containers on the Backup System called Volumes.
Volumes allow storage to be managed for one (1) or more Hosts with a common Quota and User permissions. Volumes also allow the server administrator to control Agent licensing by controlling how many Hosts or Agents can be added to a Volume. Volumes are assigned to Storage Pools that provide the underlying Disk Storage for Backup Data. Read more and see the scheme in About Backup Data Storage.
If you have several CDP Server Cluster Nodes, you should use a multi-Volume strategy. Read more in Volume Strategies.
