Web Server Node - Remote Syslog Settings

The logging of messages to a Remote Syslog server can be enabled on the "Web Server Settings" page.

Note
Each Node can have its own Remote Syslog. Read more in Remote Syslog Settings (CDP Server Settings).

The Control Server can have Remote Syslog. Read more in Remote Syslog Settings (Control Server Settings).

The following options are available for the "Remote Syslog" Settings:

  • Enable Remote Syslog - Select the check box to enable the Remote Syslog.
Note
Specify the following parameters if "Enable Remote Syslog"  is enabled.
  • Remote Syslog Server Host Name - Specify the Host Name or IP address of the Remote Syslog Server listening on UDP port 514.
  • Remote Syslog Facility - The Syslog Facility can optionally be defined.
  • Remote Syslog Threshold - The Syslog Threshold can optionally be defined. Only messages equal to or higher in priority to the Remote Syslog Threshold will be sent to the Syslog Server.
