Accessing CDP Server Logs

Question:

I want to view the CDP server's log files, or I want to send the log files to Tech Support.

Solution:

To package the log files and send them to Tech Support:

  •  Start the CDP server.
  •  Open your web browser and connect to the CDP server.
  •  Click on the "Options" Tab, then click on "Tools"
  •  You should see two links, "Download Abbreviated Logs for Tech Support" and "Download Full Logs for Tech Support"
  •  Download these logs, then e-mail them to Tech Support or attach them to your support ticket.

To access and read the logs in Linux go to the following directory:

/usr/r1soft/buserver/log

To access and read the logs in Windows go to the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Righteous Backup\Backup Server\log
