Disk Safe Browser - Error Reading File System
Symptom
Error shown in Disk Safe Browser:
Error reading file system on recovery point. Error loading backup key
Cause
We see this error message when a Disk Safe is using encryption and the passphrase is not entered correctly.
Resolution
Enter correct passphrase.
The passphrase uses an RSA private key encrypted with passphrase using 3DES. Without entering the correct passphrase, browsing of the Disk Safe will not be available.
Loss of the passphrase will result in permanent loss of access to the entire Disk Safe.
