Licenses for Agents on VM
Question
There is a main operating system, and several guest systems are running on it using VMware Server. Is it enough to have one license for the main OS or is it also necessary to buy licenses for every Guest OS in order to protect them?
Is there any kind of discount for VPS licenses over dedicated server licenses?
Solution
You need to have the Agent inside every Virtual Machine you want to protect. So, you have to buy additional Agent licenses.
We do not have defined discounts for VMs.
