Recreate Swap Partitions During Bare-Metal Restore
Linux can use a Partition as swap space. Most Linux distributions suggest that the administrator create a swap Partition during installation. Swap space allows Linux to provide more virtual memory by dumping the part of temporary unused RAM to the Disk.
During the Bare-Metal Restore of a Linux Host, you have an option to "Recreate swap partitions." If the server you backed up has swap Partition, it is recommended that you recreate the Partition by selecting the "Recreate swap partitions" check box.
