This Host Has The Same Public Key As Host
Symptom
I have a strange problem. I am setting a backup of a new machine, but when I do "Host Discovery" I get the error message "This host has the same public key as w.x.y.z", while w.x.y.z is another machine that is being quite happily backed up at present on regular basis. What can I do to change this host key?
Cause
The agent installation was copied form one server to another. The private key checking makes sure every agent has a unique RSA key and we check it which is critical for your security.
Resolution
Uninstall the agent on machine w/ duplicate key error and reinstall.
