This document provides information on how to move/migrate a CDP Server (Enterprise Edition) from one physical computer to another. ----

1) This procedure is as simple as installing the CDP Server on the new hardware with the standard installer;
2) Shutting down the CDP Server service;
3) Removing the "log," "config," and "data" directories;
4) Copying the "log," "config," and "data" directories from other Server;
5) Starting the CDP Server;
6) Reactivating the License Key;
7) Copying the Disk Safes;
8) Restarting CDP again after the Disk Safes are copied (can be done piecemeal). Policies will fail if the Disk Safes are not found. As Disk Safes appear, they should start running.
