End-user level MySQL backup is not supported in CDP. Only super-users can complete MySQL backup. Sub-users are limited by agent user permission.

Follow the instructions below to browse a MySQL Instance added to a Policy in your CDP Enterprise or Advanced Edition.

Before you can browse the MySQL instance, make sure you have added it to the Policy and performed at least one replication. See Adding a MySQL Instance to a Policy.

1. Click on "Recovery Points" in the Main Menu to access the "Recovery Points" page.

2. You will see a list of all Recovery Points from the selected Disk Safe and Agent. If a Recovery Point contains a backup of MySQL instance, the "Browse Databases" icon ( ) will be active. Click it to browse the instance.

3. The "Browse Databases" window will open.

4. Use the "+" icon to expand the trees and view the stored objects.
