Solved Issue of CDP Agent Dying During Backup Process

Symptom

---

Agent randomly dies for no apparent reason and with no log messages. A reboot of the server is required in order to resolve the issue. When it dies, the cdp_io processes are left running, but the cdp-agent service will no longer start, as the first of the cdp_io processes is holding port 1167 open.

Resolution

---

The issue has been corrected in CDP 4.0.0.
