Symptom

The system cannot perform a successful Bare-Metal Restore from an encrypted Disk Safe to the original Host.

During a Bare-Metal Restore, the IP address is set manually to the actual IP of the original machine. This machine is used to boot up the LiveCD. The system does not allow the user to complete the Bare-Metal Restore and states that the key is missing for encryption.

Resolution

The issue has been corrected in CDP 4.2.0.
