Symptom

File Restore can only be performed in batches of 30 to 40 files. Restoring more files generates the following errors:

ERROR - The data in this BLOB or CLOB is no longer available. The BLOB/CLOB's transaction may be committed, its connection closed or it has been freed.

and

org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute query[SQL: 30000, XJ073]

Resolution

The issue has been corrected in CDP 4.2.0. Up to 30,000 files located in a single directory can now be restored without problems.
