This is a new feature available in the 4.2.0 version.

It is possible to test Agent's connection via Data Center Console. Follow the instructions below.

1. Select "Agents" from the Main Menu.

You will enter the "Agents" screen where all Agents from all connected CDP Servers are displayed.

2. Select an Agent you want to test connection for, and click the "Edit" icon.

3. The "Communicating with Agent" window showing connection status appears. Click the "OK" button.

4. In some cases, there may be issues with your connection between Data Center Console and CDP Server. To find a solution、click the "OK" button.

For example, the following message states CDP could not start. Click the "OK" button.

Alternatively, you may use "Edit" icon in the "Actions" area to test CDP Agent connection. Follow the instructions below.

1. Click on the "Edit" icon in the "Agents" list.

2. The "Edit Agent" window will open. Click on the "Test Agent Connection" button.

It is also possible to check CDP Agent connection while creating new Agent. Follow the instructions below.

1. Click on "Create New Agent" command in the left upper menu.

2. After adding all Agent properties, click on the "Test Agent Connection" button.
