The Database Add-on Module allows the Agent to protect any number or combination of database instances (including MySQL, SQL Server, and MS Exchange). Below you can find requirements for protecting databases.

h3. Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system developed by Microsoft. The following SQL Server versions can be protected:

* SQL Server 2012
* SQL Server 2008 R2
* SQL Server 2008
* SQL Server 2005
* SQL Server Express

h3. MySQL

MySQL is the world's most used open source relational database management system. It runs as a server, providing multi-user access to a number of databases. Requirements for protecting MySQL databases are provided below.

Microsoft Exchange Server is the server side of a client--server, and a collaborative application product developed by Microsoft. The following versions are supported:

* Exchange Server 2007
* Exchange Server 2010
