Server Backup Data Center Console allows you to monitor parameters of servers on multiple Server Backup Managers at once. This can be done from the Servers window.

Follow the instructions below to access the Servers window.

1. In the Main menu, click *Servers*. Data Center Console displays the Servers window, as shown in the following image.

h3. The Servers list

The list of all servers is displayed with the following columns:
* *Name*. The name of the Agent.
* *Server Backup Manager*. The name of the backup manager to which the current server belongs.
{info:title=Note}The server name is displayed in the form of a link. You can click the link for quick access to the backup manager.

* *Hostname/IP*. The hostname or IP address of the server.
* *Port Number*. The port used to connect to the Agent.
* *Agent Version*. The version of the Backup Agent.
* *OS Type*. The icon-indicating operation system (Windows or Linux) is displayed in this column.
* *Server Type*. This column indicates the type of the server.
* *Actions*. This column contains the list of actions that can be performed over the Agent. See the description below.

The Servers list contains the Actions pane.

The following Actions are available:

| !68.png! | Open Backup Manager to view Servers | Click this icon to open the backup manager. |
| !69.png! | Edit  | Click this icon to edit the Server properties. See [Edit servers in DCC]. |
| !72.png! | Test Agent Connection | Click this icon to test the communication between the Agent and Data Center Console. See [Test the Agent connection in DCC]. |
| !70.png! | Delete | Click this icon to delete the Server from the Console. |

You can perform some of the actions on several servers at once by selecting them from the list using checkboxes and clicking the corresponding button at the top.

h5. Filtering the Servers list

You can use a basic list filter to sort the Servers list.

1. In the Servers menu, click *Basic List Filter*.


2. In the Basic List Filter window, select the necessary options to filter.

* *Host name*. Allows you to sort by host name.
* *Port*. Allows you to sort by port.
* *Description*. Allows you to sort by description.
* *Manager*. Allows you to sort by backup manager name.
* *OS Type*. Allows you to sort by the OS:
** *Linux*
** *Windows*
** *Unknown*

The following items are available in the drop-down lists:

* *Starts with*. To filter by Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager that begins with a specific character(s). Type in the beginning characters of the Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager.
* *Contains*. To filter by Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager that has specific character(s) anywhere in the text. Type in characters that can be contained in the Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager.
* *Ends with*. To filter by Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager that ends with a specific character(s). Type in the ending characters of the Host Name (IP)/Description/Manager.


3. Click *Filter*.

If you want to discard filtering options and view the whole list, click *Show All*.

h3. Details Pane

Click the server in the Servers list to see its details in the Details pane. The Details pane has the following tabs:
* *Details*
* *Disk Safes*
* *Policies*
* *Groups*
* *Users*

Most of the information presented here is the same as the data shown in the Servers list columns.

If you click on the !monocle.png! icon near the backup manager name, you will access the server details window.

h5. Disk Safes tab


The Disk Safes tab is a list of disk safes associated with the selected server. This screen provides the same functionality as the main Disk Safes screen including adding a new disk safe. See the detailed description in [Monitor Disk Safes in DCC].

h5. Policies tab

The Policies tab is a list of policies associated with the selected server. This screen provides the same functionality as the main Policies screen including policy creating. See [Monitor policies in DCC].

Displays the list of groups assigned to the server. In the Permissions column, you can see the set of permissions of the current group. And if you click the !monocle.png! icon, you can access the Group Details window.

Displays the list of Users assigned to the Server. In the "Permissions" column, you can see the set of permissions of the current user. And if you click the !monocle.png! icon, you can access the "User Details" window.
