Deleting a control panel instance permanently removes the instance from the Control Panel Instance list.

*To delete a control panel instance:*

# In the Main menu, click *Policy*. Server Backup Manager displays the Policies window.
# Find the appropriate policy in the Policies list, and then click the Edit icon in the Actions column for this policy, as shown in the following image.

SBM displays the Edit Policy window, as shown in the following image.

# Click the Control Panels tab. SBM displays the Control Panel Instance list, as shown in the following image.

# Find the appropriate instance, and then click the Delete icon in the Actions column, as shown in the following image.

SBM displays a confirmation message.
