Site-to-Site Replication allows administrators to replicate backup data contained in volumes and disk safes to other SBM protected machines. Once enabled and configured, all backup data is automatically replicated to the remote SBM protected machines. This allows administrators to transparently store data across SBM machines, even in different geographic locations, and use the replicated data to directly restore protected servers.

To access the Site-to-Site Replication settings, click *Advanced Options* in the Main Menu and select *Remote Replication Options*. Using the _Remote Replication Options_ screen, administrators can configure the remote and outbound options and designate target servers.

To enable Site-to-Site replication, select the *Enable* check box in the _Remote Replication Listener Options_ section. When this check box is selected, the designated server will listen for remote replication requests from other servers, and will allow other servers to connect to this one on the host and port specified in the fields below. This check box is not selected by default, and incoming replication requests from other servers are ignored.
